Mountain Bike Trail Access at the Golden Eagle Resort

 Stowe, Vermont offers 50 miles of single-track intermediate/advanced trails. 

The Stowe mountain bike trail system can be accessed right from the Golden Eagle Resort property.  Stowe is a nice option for mixed-activity families. If some of the group are mountain bikers, and some are not, Stowe is a destination where everyone in the group can do what they want. From the Golden Eagle Resort connect to some of the best single track and double track mountain bike trails, or take the recreation path to other trails in Stowe. Our new covered bike storage area along with bike washing station makes the end of the day even easier.  Stowe also offers night-life, restaurants, shops, and other outdoor recreation. 

The mountain bike trail system that abuts the Golden Eagle Resorts land is known as the "Town Loops," and "Cady Hill Forest." As a hotel guest your car can stay parked, and you can hit the mountain bike trails right out of your room. The Cady Hill Forest property consists of 258 acres comprised of three parcels of land. It is estimated that 11 miles of single track and double track mountain bike trails currently exists on the property and is used for recreational activities including: hiking, running, Nordic skiing, and snowshoeing.

Road Biking/Cycling in Stowe, Vermont 

Stowe, Vermont boasts some of Vermont's best loops of paved roads for experienced cyclists who are looking for some challenging, but beautiful rides. 

The roads around Stowe are known to some cyclists as adventurous, beautiful, and challenging. Choose from 45 mile loops to 90 mile loops depending on your skills. The Golden Eagle Resort is located right in the middle of all the action! On the mountain road, the Golden Eagle Resort is only a 1/2 mile from route 100. As a guest you choose whether you want to ride through Smuggler's Notch, or take a ride on the roads in Stowe Hollow.
