Your adventure starts with a trip through the woods of Stowe, Vermont on snowshoes, the moon providing an eerie glow as it reflects off the snow. The dark is pushed away by the light of your headlamp as the group circles around some animal tracks. Umiak's guide explains that it looks as if a fox chased a mouse. A certified guide will teach you the joy of snowshoeing, and then take you on an easy walk in the woods where you will learn about Vermont's environment. Your snowshoe trip ends with glowing cheers in a warm room where the air is filled with the smell of Vermont style cheddar cheese fondue waiting on the table, with fresh French bread and vegetable for dipping. Dessert is decadent chocolate fondue with fresh fruits and other yummy delights to smother in warm chocolate.
