Neil Van Dyke of the Golden Eagle was awarded the 2000 "Innkeeper of the Year" by the Vermont Lodging and Restaurant Association. This award is given annually to the innkeeper who exhibits "exemplary service to the hospitality industry." Neil's father in law, Herb Hillman, also won this prestigious award in 1992.
