by PlaneRegular commercial air service is available to Burlington, Vermont (BTV). Rental cars are available at the airport, or you may make arrangements for a taxi pickup from Peg's Pickup at 1-800-370-9490 (fee). When leaving the airport by rental car, take a left out of the parking lot, then a right on Rte. 2 to I-89 southbound. Follow directions below from Montreal - I-89 southbound.
Private planes may land at the Morrisville/Stowe airport, where we will pick you up at no charge for transportation to the Golden Eagle.
Traveling
by Train or Bus
AMTRAK service is available from New York, Philadelphia, Washington and points south direct to Waterbury, Vermont. Vermont Transit bus lines also provide regular service to Montpelier, where we can help make arrangements to have you picked up for transportation to the Golden Eagle.

- Albany
I-87 North to Glens Falls Exit 20 to Route 149 east to Route 4. Route 4 north/east to Route 22A in Fair Haven, Vermont. 22A north to Route 7. Route 7 north to I-89. I-89 south to exit 10. Left off ramp to Route 100 north. 10 miles to blinking light in Stowe Village, left on Route 108. Golden Eagle is 1/2 mile on left.
- Boston
I-93 north to I-89 in Concord, New Hampshire. I-89 north to Vermont exit 10. Right off ramp to Route 100 north. 10 miles to blinking light in Stowe Village, left on Route 108. Golden Eagle is 1/2 mile on left.
- Hartford, New Haven, Springfield, etc.
I-91 north to I-89 in White River Jct, Vermont. I-89 north to exit 10. Right off ramp to Route 100 north. 10 miles to blinking light in Stowe Village, left on Route 108. Golden Eagle is 1/2 mile on left.
- Maine (Southern Coastal Areas)
I-95 South to New Hampshire exit 2 (Route 101). Route 101 West to I-93 North. I-93 north to I-89 in Concord, New Hampshire. I-89 north to Vermont exit 10. Right off ramp to Route 100 north. 10 miles to blinking light in Stowe Village, left on Route 108. Golden Eagle is 1/2 mile on left.
- Maine (Northern Areas)
Pick best East/West route based on your location (probably Rte 2 or Rte 302). Continue West to I-93 North, to I-91 North. Take exit for Route 2 West to Danville. Bear right onto Route 15. Route 15 West to Morrisville. Route 100 South to Stowe. Turn right at junction of Route 108 at blinking light in Stowe Village. Golden Eagle is 1/2 mile on left.
- Montreal
Route 10 east to Route 35. Route 35 south to Highway 133. Highway 133 south to U.S. border. I-89 south to exit 10. Left off ramp to Route 100 north. 10 miles to blinking light in Stowe Village, left on Route 108. Golden Eagle is 1/2 mile on left.
- New York Metropolitan Area
I-95 north to I-91 or Route 684 to I-84 east to I-91. I-91 north to I-89 in White River Jct, Vermont. I-89 north to exit 10. Right off ramp to Route 100 north. 10 miles to blinking light in Stowe Village, left on Route 108. Golden Eagle is 1/2 mile on left.
- Syracuse, Rochester & Points West (I-90)
I-90 (New York Thruway) East to I-87 North (Northway). I-87 North to Glens Falls exit 19 to Route 149 east to Route 4. Route 4 east/north to Route 22A in Fair Haven, Vermont. 22A north to Route 7. Follow signs to Champlain Bridge to Vermont and Swanton, Route 78 east to I-89. I-89 south to exit 10. Left off ramp to Route 100 north. 10 miles to blinking light in Stowe Village, left on Route 108. Golden Eagle is 1/2 mile on left.
