Fall in love with Stowe During Autumn

Posted by: GOLDEN EAGLE RESORT

Summer is slowly winding down, before you know it, kids will be back in school, and summer vacations are coming to an end. But wait… the best time to start to travel is NOW!

Autumn in New England is the most beautiful time of year. Even USA Today, listed Stowe, VT as one of the top 10 best destinations to view fall foliage.

Stowe offers great festivals throughout the season and this fall, join us for their signature fall events. Here are a few of our favorites:

Are you a car enthusiast? The British Invasion is the largest all British motorcar show in the United States annually attracting over 600 British motorcars from the US and Canada.

Enjoy a pint or two in celebration of Oktoberfest. You can enjoy the harvest with German food specialties, the Insedudler Oompa Band, and German-style beer at the Alchemist.

Celebrate Vermont's most colorful season at the Stowe Foliage Arts Festival, while enjoying fine art and craftwork from over 150 fine artists and artisans. There will be live music, good food, beer, wine and craft demonstrations.

Situated on 33 acres of Vermont land, start your day enjoying a delicious breakfast at The Nest Café. The Golden Eagle Resort offers an array of complimentary activities on site. Take a swim in our indoor and outdoor pools with views of Stowe Mountain, snuggle up by the fire pit for evening s'mores, grab a fishing pole from the front desk and fish for Trout in our stocked pond, read a book under our gazebo, take a nature walk on our wooded trails, check out a bicycle from our fleet and cruise along the Stowe Recreation Path.

Whatever the reason you're visiting Stowe, VT, there's plenty to do on and off the resort for the perfect getaway.
